The Art of Breakfast: Cake flavoured Smoothie

Carrot Cake Smoothie Recipe

Cake in the morning? Sure! Why not? (as long as it's healthy cake I'm okay with it!)

I think I have officially fallen in love with making smoothies and baking with carrots… Expect more carrot recipes to come!

Ingredients:

  • 3 carrots, peeled 
  • 1 cup baby spinach (always have to add something green!)
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp nutmeg, ground
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, ground
  • + blended with 1 cup ice 

Optional: Rolled Oats, Maca Powder, Honey (also agave, or stevia), or Dates
