Carrot Apple Ginger Juice

Welcome Home Spring!! I have been waiting for you (well, actually I think we all have…) I love that as soon as the weather begins to brighten, my love for juices and smoothies explodes yet again! Ideal Vision: Waking up super early and going to a yoga class- then coming home to drink a homemade smoothie or juice on my deck with only a tank top on (because it's so warm outside) and being next to my dog! #itsallaboutthelittlethings ;)

Ingredients:

  • 1 granny smith apple
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/3 inch (1 cm) square piece ginger root
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 1 cup ice

Method:

  1. Clean apple, carrots, and ginger
  2. Cut off the leafy top of the carrots
  3. Place all ingredients into the vitamix container and seal the lid
  4. Select variable 1
  5. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute, using the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades
  6. Strain with nut milk bag or mesh cloth 
  7. Refrigerate before serving
  8. Drink within 72 hours!
