      There's just something about drinking a green smoothie that makes me feel superb! I don't usually make much with mango because every time I attempt to open it, I find that it is never ready to be eaten or used... I recently found out that the mango has to lose all of it's green colour before it is ripe enough be eaten! Good learning for me. I will now use mangos more often!

Yields: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 2/3 ripe mango
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon 
  • 3/4 cups coconut milk

Blend with a handful of ice and enjoy! xo
