On a day as cold as today i need some comfort food. Although this isn't a warm meal. it still seems to do the trick! 


  • 1/4 cup black chia seeds
  • 1 medium sized banana
  • 1 tbs cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tbs shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup coconut or almond flavoured milk


Using a fork, mash your banana in a medium sized bowl or container. Add your chia seeds, coconut, spices, and dairy-free milk into the same bowl. Stir the mixture till smooth. Seal your bowl or container and place the mixture into the fridge overnight (or between 3-6 hours). In the morning top with fresh fruit, cinnamon, or agave. (Over time the mixture will begin to be absorbed by the chia seeds and liquid and create a thick pudding-like texture)
